Made Book PDF
This book teaches us that every person on earth was made with something beautiful to share.
'Made' is the simple version of a teaching tool called 'Dirt to Use'.
Like the teaching, you can read this message, take it in through the vibrant pictures or participate in a real-life experience of the transformation story.
Kimberly Amos wrote this book to share God’s love for us in a visual and simple way. Her hubby and four uniquely cool kiddos fill her heart and life every single day. Kim’s background is in international education administration and social work. She gets to be friends with creative leaders around the world who are loving, teaching, and employing others.
Sometimes it can feel like there is a chasm between yourself and those you don't understand. Truth is, we all have something beautiful in our hearts to share with each other. While Kim (author) was looking for someone to illustrate 'made' she was introduced to Givean. It was not always easy to get things 'right' but they grew together as God made a way!
Givean Thomu is a talented artist living in Zimbabwe. Due to a childhood accident, he lost both of his arms. This is a part of Givean’s story which resides in his heart along with a love for painting. Givean found a way with others to use what he has on the inside. You’ve got to get to know this guy! Click to check out his work on Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Psalm 100:3
We love the connection that can be made between clay jars and ourselves as imperfect fragile vessels. As we walk out this life on earth things will happen and we will break. Yet when we allow God to heal and restore us we can't help but see how He uses our whole story (good and bad) to reveal something beautiful. Together we are learning how to make clay jars with the 'dirt to use' method and restoring broken jars using the Japanese kintsugi method. No, we don't use real gold, we use epoxy glue and soft gold cosmetic powder and the restored jars turn out beautiful. Jars will be on Amazon and Etsy, displaying God's beauty in brokenness!
We will offer several cool jars that have not been broken - yet! These jars will be selected based on how amazing they will look in your home. The jars will be simple stoneware beautiful enough to stand alone, creative jars that celebrate your personality, and functional jars that we use for daily things instead of plastic jars. In fact, this is another reason we love jars as a company that believes in living green! Just think of how many plastic bottles we can eliminate by reusing gorgeous stoneware jars for our refillable beauty and food products. All jars sold will be restored, upcycled, and sold (Amazon & Esty) so that we can give & grow together!
