90% of Restore SB proceeds are shared among the amazing ministries we work with: Lily Kelly Ministries (Murrieta, CA), Touch One Life (Kenya, Africa), and Chenga Ose Association (Zimbabwe, Africa). The other 10% is invested back into Restore SB so we can continue growing together!
We have been dreaming about opening a cute little thrift store for years! Although online is a good gig we want to be WITH others and hire differently. When someone walks into a physical expression of Restore SB we want them to know they are loved and can shop no matter what shape they are in. We also want to provide a place where everyone can reuse their stuff to grow something beautiful. We can even imagine a small clay studio in the middle of the shop where we will get our hands dirty, learn and love together using the made book. The third part of the dream is to have yummy coffee nearby.
It can be hard to hold onto big dreams but we once heard that if they are not big we probably don't need God to fulfill them. Right now we are pretty focused on developing our teaching tools but soon we will be looking into purchasing a small trailer. Our hope is to begin picking up larger items and explore some mobile storefront opportunities. We still have a long way to go but that's okay, growing together is fun!
